About Browns Backers Worldwide
Browns Backers Worldwide (BBW), the official worldwide fan club of the Cleveland Browns is considered to be the largest organized fan club in all of professional sports with over 40,000 registered members. The BBW exists as a non-profit organization to actively support and positively promote the Cleveland Browns.
Throughout the year, BBW Clubs and individual members organize and participate in various events and activities to represent and cheer on the Browns. Many of these activities include gathering for game days, marching in parades, organizing fundraisers, teeing off at golf outings and much more. Through many of these events, Browns Backer Clubs raise money to support their local charities as well as the Cleveland Browns Foundation <http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/community/foundation/>.

The Middle Tennessee Browns Backers was started by Cleveland transplant Joe Farmer in 1988. He placed an ad in the Browns News Illustrated and about 12 people showed up until we out grew our meeting location.
The club has continued to grow over the years. We average between 225-250 card carrying members. But, one thing has remained constant, our love of the Browns

Middle Tennessee Browns Backers is a non-profit organization, in conjunction with the Cleveland Browns, designed to do charitable events within the community.

This chapter is highly geared towards charitable events and sports functions. Whether it is time or monetary donation, this club will do what it can to promote a better life for under privileged kids, families or animals. We are looking for members that are willing to spend a few hours a year to make a difference. For your reward, we offer the smiles from kids and satisfaction that you are part of a great organization that cares about its community.

Proceeds from fund raisers and membership dues will be donated to local causes and charities within the Nashville area and selected Cleveland Browns Charities.
